This week the Library of Congress introduced the addition of greater than 4,000 new main supply paperwork to the By the Folks web site. These main sources are all letters, notes, and manuscripts written by Walt Whitman.
The aim of the By the Folks undertaking is to enlist the assistance of the general public to transcribe hundreds of main supply paperwork which can be housed by and have been scanned by the Library of Congress.
